Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is one of the most effective ground based fighting martial arts and self-defense tactics in the world.  Jiu Jitsu is unique in its ability to be applied to any age, gender and size by use of proper techniques and leverage to manipulate your opponent, gaining optimal positioning for submissions usually by way of joint locks or choke holds.

Classes consist of a variety of warm up methods, specific technique drilling and finished by “rolling” or sparring to further train the art and sharpen techniques. Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is trained utilizing a gi or Kimono. No gi techniques are also trained.
